Fleet Command Master Chief Kim A. Feroni

Master Chief Feroni is a native of Bloomington, MN and enlisted in the United States Navy in October 1993 as an Operations Specialist. 
 
During his time as an Operations Specialist, he served onboard USS SHASTA (AE 33), Navy Recruiting District Minneapolis, USS PREBLE (DDG 88), Navy Recruiting District San Diego, SEAL Team SEVEN, and Joint Functional Component Command – Space, Missile Warning Center – Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station.
 
Following selection as a Command Master Chief, he has served onboard USS OSCAR AUSTIN (DDG 79), Maritime Expeditionary Security Group TWO, Joint Task Force Guantanamo, Destroyer Squadron TWO and is currently serving at Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command / U.S. FOURTH Fleet.
 
He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 185/Gray Group), Command Master Chief Course, and the National Defense University Joint Keystone Course. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Master Chief Feroni is a recipient of various personal and campaign awards including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (2 awards), Army Commendation Medal, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards). He is qualified to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS), Expeditionary Warfare Specialist (EXW), and Navy Parachutist (PJ) breast insignia.
